As central and local government funding continues to be reduced, a valuable source of income is significantly reduced amongst voluntary sector providers. Fusion partners have been able to offer their experience to assist in the strategic planning for charitable organisations seeking to future proof their provision of vital, local, and often community based services.

 

Charitable organisations are taking on services previously provided by council bodies and must fully evaluate the business case for becoming a social enterprise or a Community Interest Company and/or establishing a trading arm. A strategic long term plan, arrived at in full consultation with stakeholders is a key element in supporting a decision.
